It is not very difficult but I can't remember every detail. Basically remove the steering surround pieces from the steering column to expose the switch. Should be pretty obvious from there as to how to remove the old switch. Do not cut any wires. They all have connector plugs up under the dash. Pull these down and unplug each of the connections. Don't worry about lables because each of the connecting plugs is different. They can only be plugged back in one way. Put your new switch in, plug everything back up, put the trim back on and start it up. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before you start all of this.
By the way, if you do not already have a switch I have one I can let you have for $18 shipped. Let me know if you are interested or have any other questions.

Tennis, anyone
yeah the real switch is not where the key goes, it's at the other end, it's white and 1 screw holds it in. use care because the wires and the solders are old and can and will break off.
