Ignition

So my ignition was broken when I bought my car the key would fall out and the the metal piece that you put the key into would sometimes come out well now I can't start my car because when i go to turn on my car that metal piece just turns and doesnt do anything i have messes with it and can get it to work. Does anyone know where I can get a working one and are they expensive?

I havent bought a new one but I have a couple of S3 styles with keys. PM me your offer and we can go from there. Ignition cylinder only plus a key and NO DOOR LOCKS.

My solution to that was to grind off the ignition lock. I have the starter relay hanging down under my steering wheel. At the moment, I use a large, flat head screw driver to start my car. However, I am in the process of wiring up switches where my cubby is in the center console as well as a fuel cutoff switch for security. Its a lot of trial and error, but I am slowly getting it done. Best of luck.
