Igniter to coil wiring?

I just finished getting my car to run again and in so doing rewired a lot of the ignition system. I was wondering if stock it had two seperate wires that ran one from each igniter to the coil to provide power as this car does not. Just wondering if that really makes any difference or not. Thanks for your time.

Ben

A seperate negative needs to go from each of the ignitors to the ignition coils. The coil and ignitor positives are all connected in parallel.
