Idle, and the idle page everyone links to, didnt help

When i start my car it idles at about 1000 rpm. As it warms up its idle rises to 1500. If i go under the hood and adjust the idle down, i can get it to 900, but then when i shut it off and start it, itl either stall, or stay at900 rpm and raise to 1500 rpm as it warms up. I dont kno whats going on

I don't think you're adjusting the idle speed.
I think you're adjusting the idle mixture.

The speed is under the linkage on the lower right side of the carb from the driver's fender.
The MIXTURE is dead center on the throttle body.

When you adjust mixture, you have to do so with the engine at temperature because fuel expands so much from the cool engine to the hot engine temperature that the air/fuel mixture is WAY different.

This is my guess at the source of your inconsistant idle.

I forgot to throw in there that im Fuel Injected 84 -SE with a Street Port, but ive used all the adjustment methods, the air adjustment on top of TB, the tps, the linkages on the throttle cable, the screws located near the linkages. I dunno why the idle changes.

Not sure I'm clear on this but....

Your car should idle at around 1500 until it warms up (fast idle cam releases). If its idling around 1000 when you 1st start it up, give it a little gas and it will most likely idle up to the 1500 mark very quickly. If it's not dropping back down once warm, you may need to adjust the fast idle cam to ensure it releases from the cam roller- if it doesn't release, you're idle will hang up there forever.
And don't try to set your idle until the car is fully warmed up and the cam has released.

Went by the manual to adjust my idle. Got it to a nice 900 and everyhtign was fine(minus a slight miss). Well i shut it off, started it up, revved it a little, and it went right back to 900. Well i waited about 3 hours, started it and it went up to about 2000 rpm, then as it warmed up i saw it dropping. It dropped to 1600 and wont go any lower. Anyone kno why, the car was at running temp

I assume the manual you are referring to is a shop manual. Like I said earlier, the car should rev up and idle at about 1.5 to 2K when COLD. If the idle is fairly stable other than being too high, I would still say it's the fast idle cam (which is covered in the manual) or your throttle linkage is binding up and not dropping all the way down. Since you are able to get it to idle at 900 some of the time, I would think you don't have a problem with vac leaks - if it is rough, it could very well be a leak. The idle cam has an adjustment screw at the back of the throttle chamber - there are actually two screws - the one closest to the passenger fendor is the one I usually adjust first.

You can check for binding by manually pushing the throttle plates back into place by gently pushing on the TPS adjustment screw - if the throttle moves and the idle drops, you are binding. If you haven't already, spray a light lube on the throttle linkage - ensure the plates are moving freely and your throttle is snapping back into place when you move it manually while you're under the hood. Also keep in mind, every time you mess with any idle adjustment, you have to reset the TPS and the TPS is the 1st thing that has to be right before you can move on to anything else.

I'm kind of going around in circles here so to warp up, do 3 things:
1st - adjsut TPS
2nd - check for binding in the throttle body
3rd - check to make sure your fast idle is set up correctly - that adjsutment is covered in the manual in more detail than is actually required - all you really need to insure to get the car running is that the cam RELEASES from the cam roller - that will mean the cam is not hanging your idle up. Once that is determind, you can fine tune so that fast idle is not reving too high
