Idle Adjustment 85 GSL

Help!

I'm a real beginner and neophyte and am trying to maintain a well preserved 85 GSL. This weekend's project was to adjust the idle - its running at about 1000 when warmed-up. However, I do note that sometimes when I do not use the choke to start up it idles at 750 - 800 until it warms up - then 1000 rpm.

Anyway, I've read a few threads, the FSM and even the carb manual regarding adjusting the idle on my 12A. I can locate the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW without a problem. However, for the life of me, I cannot find the dang IDLE SPEED SCREW!!!!!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Where the heck is it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Any pictures or diagrams, or do I need a machette to hack through everything . . . .???

Thanks for any help!

It's on the same side of the carb as the mixture screw, closer to the firewall, under the linkage. Are you sure it's an adjustment issue, and not a vaccume leak?
