here is the official website for the red car. http://noisy_.tripod.co.jp/ hes a part of a drift team in japan. i undersand why he chose to go with the non-flipup. when practicin for driftin, everyone makes misstakes. prob its cheaper to make it non flipup when in a wreck. u wont need to replace motors, support arms, etc..... also, till be easier to fix later when u get in another wreck. his car is all wrecked up. lol

anyways, about a month ago, i was in a wreck too. passenger front was damage. all the light essembly parts were damaged. instead of replacin everythin, i desided to install one of them recangle headlights that they sell at autozone and use alluminume for the surround. then us plexiglass for the cover. ill have to cut away part of the radiator support to fit the headlight in though.

itll be funny to have one non-flipup and the other flip-up. lol. ill do the other light while im at it even if its fine.

 

I like the pop-up covers, but not the round lights. Specifically, it's the plastic shroud that turns me off.

I just posted on another thread that I would pay ridiculous dough for a wooden steering wheel.
-The thing that keeps me from doctoring the lights (keeping the pop-ups, but going to square lens w/ aluminum shroud) is who's gonna see 'em?
