You can get there with what he said, even w/o the street port.

Easy there big boy. You need to understand the basics first. And search. This has been covered lots of times.

First off, 180hp is the upper end of the 12A's max power. You will have to shell out at least enough cash for a good streetport, rebuild, Weber 51 IDA from RB, Custom exhaust, and other things like an e-fan. It would be MUCH cheaper just to go turbo.

Now, I would say go bridge port or even peripheral port, but neither are streetable and need about a 10000rpm redline to reach max power. Not to mention that they idle at a minimum of 1500rpm and generally get below 10mpg.

Damn, you guys beat me too it. Oh well.

Would that be impling a sterling carb or whole new carb/intake setup? I have a feeling a good modded nikki intake will do some wonders as it is.

No offense, but 180 is esaily resonable power with the standard upgrades. I wish I had dyno sheets to show you, but Yaw has some that show proof of this.

dude if you look on racing beat a weber 51 ida is not recommended. go with a 48 man. look on racing beat and look at they're intake guide.

Aw ****. I just remembered that 150 hp is the upper RWHP limit. That would translate to about 170-180 BHP. So I guess it is possible without porting. But a 48 IDA or 465 Holley from RB, a RB exhaust and other things like A/C removal and e-fan should get you to 150 RWHP. If you want anything more than that, you have to either port your engine or go with forced induction.
