To me it had that metallic noise when hitting the gas.... I like the low tone better.

I hear little honda civics going by all day I cant take any more loud metallic noise.

I remember reading a few days ago that pacesetter only performed a little better than the stock manifold. Who cares how it sounds if it doesnt flow well!

Yeah I get you, I guess its just a difference of opinion. I need even my daily drivers to be as powerful as reliability will allow

lol my brother is that way. Unfortunally he spent all that money on a car that was supposed to last forever and for peformance. Then he sold it for 700$ because he couldnt find another engine.

Sorry dude, but that sounds terrible. The buzzing will only get worse.

You need a Borla on there, STAT!

http://members.shaw.ca/deuteronomy/Borla.mp3

That was taken at about the same relative position and distance to your clip.

I've got:

RB Header, RB Presilencer, Magnapack perforated straight through silencer, and a center/offset Borla.

Edit: I've also got some in-car footage in the sig. My exhaust is pretty quiet in the cabin, even with the windows open and I'm flogging the hell out of the car.

Because the baffles in the muffler are resonating at different frequencies, I'd expect.

Since they're so cheap, Pacesetters will disintegrate quickly over time, making that buzzing more and more prevalent.

i am gathering everything for my exhaust for my DD now. im waiting on parts to arrive and itll be on. here is the set up i will be running:

RB header-RB presilencer-14" magnaflow muffler- borla XR-1

heres the magnaflow i ordered:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAGNA...mZ270032817221

heres the borla i have:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Borla...QQcmdZViewItem

i went with the 40942 borla over the 40941 due to the fact the 40942 is 4 inches longer and would give a little more to lower the noise.

mine should be on soon as long as my header and all hurrys and gets here. after i get it installed ill post a video.

I'm running a Borla muffler with custom headers ("2 Collector pipes) with 2.75 exhaust all the way to the back. No pre-Silencer, no cats.

It's not the headers persee, that make an exhaust sound good or bad, it's what's installed behind it to quiet it down.
