I was supposed to save these for last but...

I just had to do it. My plan was that I had to wait until my turbo fb project was completed before I put on my Aussie front indicators (It was going to be the last step, kinda like a celebration or something) but I just couldn't help myself.....lol I have alot of stuff taken out of the front of the car right now so I figured it was easier to just put them in now than later. Man I love these things!

I decided to keep my AC for the project. I figure since it still works ice cold, it would be a waste to remove it. I was able to remove the 12a motor and install the 13bt motor without disconnecting the compressor from the lines so the system remained fully charged. The only thing that really needed some work was that cylinder thing for the ac system that sits where my front mount was gonna sit. I just relocated that infront of the ac and bolted it to a little bracket that was already there and had a threaded hole in it. I was able to use the stock piece that normally hugs this cylinder. The FMIC is not mounted yet, it's just sitting there on the belly pan. It will actually get moved up abit once mounted. As you can see, the ac lines going to that cylinder are kinda turned the wrong way. I would have alot more slack in the lines if I loosend the lines and turned them abit but since the system is still charged, I will save that for a few years down the line when it needs service.

I had a friend in Australia send them to me about a year ago. Don't know if they are still available there. I know just the lenses are but not sure about the whole assembly. Cost me about 120.00 USD at the time. The dollar has weakened considerably since then so if they are available, they would be quite abit more now.

Thanks Kevin, Yeah that's it. I figured if I was gonna dump a ton of money into a car, might as well start with a clean foundation. The 12a motor/tranny went to a good home Besides, I wasn't looking to re-sell the car later for a profit. I'm keepin it for a long time, hopefully till I'm old and gray and I can pass it onto the grandkids someday..... lol I hope to pick up a 13bre next week that Keith told me about. I'm gonna hold onto the 13BRE motor as a spare.

sounds like a good plan, I think I might try to get some of those turn signals as a reward for my car running so good..... I just got the stand alone in it and it runs like a bat out hell.

Sounds like a plan. Keith should be able to get some for you. Weve been trading lots of parts with Joshua in Australia.
