what a waste of money, just cut them off and replace it with a $10 resonator pipe, with 2 clamps on either end, took me 2 hours and cost me $15

I don't think it's a waste at all.. ever seen one of Racing Beat's cat pipes? Pick it up and you'll understand why it costs so much. Thing could survive three nuclear winters. Not to mention the fact that if you use it, you didn't hack your old exhaust and you can swap the cats back in if necessary.. buy cheap, get cheap..

Thats what I was going to do until I realized it wasn't worth my time. I already had the front pipe, so I wouldn't need to cut anything, all I needed was a 26" or whatever straight pipe. Ordering one is much faster.
Thanks for the suggestion though
