I now belong...

Just picked up a 79 and an 80 1st gen!

Now to just get them ready to take down to this year's rotary revolution.

I've decided to start a MI(ke) caravan down. There's my 94, my 91 vert, and now my two 1st gens all in a convoy.

Well, I'm not sure the 80 will make it. Looks like the motor might be siezed. I'm gonna fill up the plugs with ATF and let it sit for awhile then try and see if it'll free up.

But sorry, I have plenty of family going down to cover driving all of those cars

I would like to see you 1984 rx-7 gsl-se there though

Working on it

I figure our goal is 200+ RX/Rotary vehicles at this year's event and I am now really doing my part, lol

And thanks to everyone who posted on how to free a siezed motor. I filled that baby up with as much ATF as it would hold, let it sit for six hours, got out the breaker bar and low and behold I now have another running 1st gen (after all the smoke died down).

Now to get them in a little more presentable shape before the Revolution.

Chalk up two more 1st gens making the trip out, lol...

Hey Bob,

I'm up in Fenton. We have a great MI club that you can find out more information at: http://www.mitrotaryclub.com

Also hope to see you and your 1st gen down at the Revolution this April!

Yep, there is a bad spot on the rear drivers side above the brake light. Picked up another 79 today no motor, no tranny and now my garage looks like a chop shop as we are ripping pieces off of it to add them to the 79 and 80.

It's a shame, but better to have two good looking RX7's on the road than two raggy one's and one rotting away in a salvage yard.
