I need some help !!

Good day to all. Just got my 84 Rx-7. Having some issues. Ok. My Fuel and Water Temp gauge arte not working. Does anyone know which connector on the harness contains this wires and or what color they are?? Secondly, the motor is fresh, and i think i need to tune in my oil injection. Can Anyone get me going on that, Maybe give me a Good site to vosot for tuning tips. Thanks everyone.

Your OMP or MOP as some like to call it. (oil metering pump / metering oil pump) should be hooked up the carb linkage so it will adjust the flow as needed.

Also your oil pressure sender and water temp are on the drivers side of the engine block under the oil filter.



The one circled is the water temp the big one next to it is the oil pressure

Yours may not look the same, but you get the the gist of where they are at


Edit: Just say you wanted to know what the connectors look like. The one for the Water t-stat will be a female plug.

The one for the oil will be a rectangle with a insert for you to slide it on.

ok, so, where does the wire from the water temp go to( What connector? What color is that? And are there any wires/connectors which has a circuit for the FUEL GAUGE in the engine commpartment??

most of the time if the guages aren't working inside and everything is connected its the guage cluster itself. Guys sell working ones on the forum all the time for around $40. If you want to research if the sending units are working there is a link to your specific Service Manual with ohm readings in the 1st gen FAQ page...
