I need any advice my transmission well not go back in

Exclamation I need any advice my transmission well not go back in

We have it on all , but an inch. Every time we shove it forward it well not move. what can we doo is there any other advice.... help...

did u use the tool to align clutch with flywheel?

There are two reasons the trans may not mate up. One is that you may not have the disc lined up perfectly, eventhough you used the alignment tool (it can still be slightly off), the other is that the splines are just not meshing up well. To see if this is the problem rotate the engines slightly, you can turn it by hand with the front pulley, hopefully that will help.

I had the same problem a few times. Last time I got lucky, planets aligned, there was a horseshoe nearby and a four leaf clover stuck in the tread of my shoe and it just popped into place. Basically your only choice unless it's hung up on something other than the splines is to rotate the transmission as you push it forward or have someone rotate the engine with a ratchet as you push the trans into place. Also try it with the transmission in gear. Might pop right in.

Sometimes lifting up the back of the tranny or turning the output shaft with it in gear is all it takes.
