The coolant and oil warning lights usualy come on to signal that they're getting low. Should be as simple as topping up the rad fluid and oil.

My coolant light kept coming on, and I just replaced the sensors at the top and bottom of the radiator and that seemed to cure it.

Make sure that the coolant lines to the oil cooler are not kinked. Other than that, it might just be a sensor that's gone bad. But both of them at once?
