I hate o-rings.

ok so about a week and a half ago I changed the gasket and orings on my 12a. it didnt smoke one bit for a few days, then it smoked a little again, now its smoking the same as it was before and there is some puddling of coolant.

What did I do that made these leak after only a few days after install?

Which gasket and o-rings exactly? Intake mani?

Use 20mm freeze plugs, that'll stop any problems from the coolant near the intake mani.

What Jon said is what you should do, I still have the o rings, but If I ever have the problem again I will do the freeze plugs. I think I had the worst with the o rings, had to do it about four times after putting everything back together and it still leaked four times. Finally got it right and I was done. Hope you dont have to go through it as much as I did. Hylomar did the trick holding the o rings in.
