I got my 85 GSL-SE !!!
Great condition, 59,000 miles.
I really enjoyed driving it back from Phoenix, where it has lived for the last 18 years.

That is a beautiful SE.. It was probably worth it if you plan on taking good care of it..
Just please don't drive it in the winters.. That is a care that needs to be taken care of.

Winters come and go on a daily basis in Colorado
But, just to ease your mind... It is in the garage right now and I am driving my CRV today because of the snow... :P
It is the first car I've ever owned whose home is actually IN my garage... LOL

Nice SE! Have you looked in the bins, yet? I recently looked in the bins of mine and my fathers, 84 SE with 86K and 85 SE with ~60K, and they both had a little rust despite being garaged and never driven in winter. You paid a premium, but then it's not always easy to find them in the condition yours appears to be in.

You got a great car at a great price. You cannot overpay for a great product. You can underpay for a bad product in sorry condition that needs lots of work. Regardless of what you pay you want a good product in good condition. I took a middle road since I could not find a low mileage great condition one like yours by buying at $3000 for one just like yours (color, model,yr.)with 150,000mi. on it and that needs basic maintenance and the expected replacement of worn out items (springs, shocks, brakes, differential, hoses, power steering pump, paint job, etc.) You have a beautiful car. You could not overpay for it in my book. How did you find the car-I did not see it on Autotrader?
