I believe you're talking about the lighting wiring for use with automatic transmissions. DO NOT CONNECT THEM TOGETHER! Even though they look like they should be plugged into each other, if you do it will burn out your dash lights dimming dial and you will be left with no dash/tail lights (don't ask me how I know)...

CRAP!!! I just figures out what you meant by old AT KB plug... Old AT Style Keyboard Plug... GODDAMN... I haven't seen one in years...

There are two OTHER plugs in there (single pin connectors) for an auto tranny, (AT), and those you DO NOT want to plug into each other...

Anyways, it's called a DIN style plug, and yes they are for the stereo.
They are the stock speaker cables that go from the stereo to the tape deck, eq, joystick thingie and amps...

Are you talking about the 6 pin or 8 pin plugs?

Depending on the exact mannufactuing date, there may be 1 or 2 6 pin plugs behind your stereo, as well as 2 8 pin plugs in the center console.

Yea, I really wish people would spell things out, at least the first time they refer to it. Especially in this case, where we're in a car forum and he's referring to a computer term.

Just my $0.02. (that means "my 2 cents worth" )

I'm a "computer guy" as well as a "car guy", but I wasn't thinking "computer", and it's a REALLY old part... Hell my keyboard has a PS2 port and I consider it OLD, lol...

Those are the wires that go to your radio amps that are mounted behind your storage bins. You can take it all out including the amps if you have converted to a new style radio.

Rude one Spencer! I've got 5 pc's, 4 of them have AT keyboard plugs, and the newest (AMD 3000) has ps 2. Hell, I'm old, but not that old!

Lol... I had to get rid of most of my older stuff.
I do have 1 AT KB left, and a couple (pentium class) motherboards that can use it...
