Exclamation I am doing my GSL swap...

I have a 84 GS and i am putting on a S3 GSL in there, evereything is going good right now, but does the disc brake hae a different e-brake cable?

Yes it does you need the disc brake cables. Also the 83 has smaller bearings etc than an 84/85 GSL rear. If you aren't concerned with this extra strength it will be a straight swap.

i am putting in a S3 GSL, so it should be 84/85...

83 is not the same bearing and axle size as 84/85, 83 is a series 2, not series 3

No he misread S3 for 83, you have the correct rear end.

You do need to get the parking brake cable. I did not now that when I pulled the rear end so i dont have it. So you will need that cable. But everything else should bolt up just fine.

Dont forget to put the right gear fluid in and a limited-slip additive in the lsd.
