I am looking at a assembling a hybrid 12AT for my wife's 85. My initial concept is 12A housings for better port design, 13B centreplate for a 4 injector efi, 12AT low pression rotors and counterweight, FMIC, with S5 turbo and Micotech ecu. The concept is to get a very driveable 325rwhp.

Has any one else gone down this route and with what results? In particular which is the best option 12A housings or open up the 12AT ports to take advantage of the better MCP internal surface .

Extenals will be stock other than 16" Simmons wheels as its difficult to get high performance tires in smaller diametres.
