Hey guys, I bought a mikuni Carb (model unknown) with a intake manifold, and the guy said it was portred, but im having doughts that its actually for my car or that it is ported, i havent recieved it in the mail to take to it MazTech yet, so Ill post a pic and see if you guys can tell me if it is for the 12A motor or even ported, Ill have more pics when I recieve it. Thanks guys.

 

I take it you mean the actual carb intake manifold. Its hard to see at that angle, but simply match it up to your stock intake manifold and see if the holes were made larger.

 

put an intake manifold gasket up to it. and why would you put that heavy *** carb on your hood????? ahhhhhhh be careful!


edit: actually from that angle it looks like the primary ports have not been touched at all. now they could have meant where the carb meets the manifold. most people port that larger to fit the barrells better. check that.

 

haha its not me that did that, I would never do that, That is a pic of the car before I bought it, the guy put the carb on there to take a pic for some reason unknown....Puttin it on the driveway would have been fine, but whatever works, Its getting a new Paint job so everythings fine :-), Dont know who would paint it Burgendy...
