How to set timing on a direct fire ignition

A guys finally completed the SE swap into my GS. My question is how do you set timing on a direct fire set up(as per Jeff20b)? The dist. is off the car so I'll need steps from the very beginning PLEASE! IE. aligning the dist. etc........

Thanks, Ed

Turn the pulley so the yellow mark lines up on the front cover. Put the distributer in so the arrow/triangle points directy towards the firewall. (that is how i've always done it, seems to work alright)

Put the timing light on the L1 and get the light on for the yellow marker. Put the light on the T1 and unscrew the vac advance for the trailing ignition. Slide it in/out so the light is on with the red mark on the pulley.
