Arrow HOW TO: Remove your automatic antenna.

TOOLS NEEDED:

1. Phillips Screwdriver
2: 10mm Wrench

INSTRUCTIONS:

Start by unscrewing the lock at the bottom of the antenna (outside of the car).

Remove the two 10mm nuts from the inner back passenger side fender right near the corner their..

Remove the back passenger tail light using the phillips head screwdriver.

Reach in from the hole where the tail light was and yank the antenna + motor away from the wall where the studs are holding it.

Pull the antenna down and out of the tail light hole.

(at this point you can replace the antenna with an after market one or fill in that hole and get it painted over)

- Just thought I would share this experience with those who were wondering -

I took out mine and fibreglassed / fillered the hole.. after a good chunk of sanding and some spray she looks really clean. If you you might ask "Wheres this guy putting his antenna?" I bought an On glass antenna and it looks really professional and clean. Mine was origionaly for a boat from "west marine." Defiently a great mod for looks and reception.
