how much (if any) flaking is acceptable?
i was wondering....on housings is flaking of the chrome acceptable? the FSM says nothing about this, is there any tolerance? what would happen if i used a housing with small amounts of flaking around the edge?
ill put up some pics can you tell me if they are useable or not
thanks
this one i can tell is bad lol but i just wonder, what would happen if i used it?
could this one be used?
how about this one?

another quick question, what happened to this rotor? the apex seals and housing were just fine
sorry for all the ?s im learning here

Mazda states you are allowed 2mm from the edge ( http://foxed.ca/rx7manual/manuals/Ro...ria%201979.pdf )
I personally would not use that first housing, it would run but would not make great compression. The last three are usable but not perfect by any means.

i bet the rotor isn't that great either. the apex seal slot gets a V shape due to seal drag over time
