if you're looking to be different and have too much money then a supercharger may give more than what you have but not the best bang for your buck. in the past the camdens would eat themselves up if you pushed them too hard, not sure if they upgraded them to make them more durable.

Definitely get it on a Dyno and find out!
With similar exhaust and intake (RB "Street Port" Long Primary exhaust and a Sterling), my tired old 12a did 104hp at the rear wheels. It had borderline compression after 200,000km when it pulled those numbers on a Dynapak Chassis Dyno. So the rebuild and port job is what adds to that, and I agree with the folks here that you're probably in the 140rwhp range.

Yes, I'd expect to be doing a lot more if I was running a fresh 12a. So his engine, being freshly built and ported, should make a good amount more (that's what I meant by the rebuild and the port job). I'm interested to see what the actual number is, since the consensus seems to be in the 140 range.

Not the same car. It would be a bit more accurite if you put the camden on the street ported car; then got your numbers afterwards. Also, what did the curves look like.
I understand the advantages of the turbo over the supercharger, but in my case... I can use the camden with my carb.
I dunno... Part of me is saying "do it right or do it twice dumbass" and the other part is saying "bolt on and GO/ supercharger=POWER on demand".
How self destructive are these things? Bad reputation? I gotta do some reasearch.
EDIT: of course my bigest like (and dislike) is the drawthrough setup. But I'll stop thread jacking now.
