how much HP?

Hey,

I just aquiered a japanese 4 port, carborated, 13B rotary engine. my question is what sort of HP can i expect to get out of this engine, and what can i do to get to said high HP? thanks in advance.

you're gonna love that engine man. Street Port it trust me STREETPORT IT! Full xhaust and intake with SP can put you at 215-225 depending on yor setup. Well thats at the flywheel, like 180-195 at wheels, depending on flywheel clutch combination.

so what sort of quarter mile time am i gonna be looking at with that sorta HP? o i forgot to mention i already have a racingbeat carb set up on it. thanks for the info, n e other advice or thoughts is always appreciated.

What year engine?

Newer 4 ports are all turbo engines (lower compression)

Im actualy not really sure, its some where between an 85 and a 89. the guy i bought it from doesnt know for sure and since it is a japanese engine it has a conglomeration of parts from variouse years so my friend and i and the guy i bought it from arnt posotive but somewhere between an 85 and an 89. it is NA although a turbo or 2 would b nice heh.
