about 2 and a half grand, plus being ripped off $500, so about 3 grand.

Which decade?? I have owned mine since 1988!!!! I could have bought sooooo many cars with what I put in mine. I have totaly rebuilt the car 3 times and am on my 4th go around now. Each time I have spent around 10k, this go around I am trying to keep the budget under 20k.........keep in mind this last rebuild will probably be the last and it is over a 2yr period
My last 4k is just about ready to be spent(4lb. flywheel and dual disc. QuarterMaster..$1500, Rebuild kit for the motor..$1500, misc. plumbing....$750).

Oh yah....I have owned it twice!! I originally bought it for $7k in 1988, sold it in 95, and bought it back in 2000 for $2500.

Ain't that the truth. I've probably dropped $500 into my current '79. Don't even ask me how much I spent on my '82. I don't want to talk about it.

I'm not counting, cause that would make me cry...
The car was about $3250, then the engine was another $1200, then the seats were $400+$200 retrimming material, then the rest of the interior another $100 in material. Carpets etc...$100, paintjob: $1000, tires $200, and so many things I just can't remember.
Oh, and yes, I got ripped of when buying the mirrors (not the ones on the pic, that are still the old ones) from Canada. $20 for the mirrors, $50 for the shipping, but only about 20 canadian dollars in stamps on the package... And the badges (Efini) were also overpaid: $30 each.
At least the car is looking good now...

Yep, complete mode 1 kit (front and rear) but with custom rocker panels (side skirts). The car was in a not so good condition, but now is shining again. My pride and joy!
