Question how much fuel pressure do i need for turbo?

I need to replace my fuel pressure regulator and was wondering if anyone knows what the pressure range is. I have a turbo and was told they require huge fuel pressure and I might have to get something aftermarket. Do you think my fuel pump needs upgraded as well? where should I get the regulator? The turbo was on a different motor in the same car and seemed okay. thanks!!

Need more details. If you're running a carb, then the fpr needs to be a rising rate fuel pressure regulator that will raise the fuel pressure 1:1 as the the boost rises. If you're running FI, then it's an entirely different story. What engine, fpr, turbo and pump was running in the other car?

It is fuel injected, 13B, and I believe the pump and FPR are all stock. I think the turbo is a cartech?

I forgot also it is the same car. The motor was bad when I got it but the guy said it ran great before he blew it. The other motor must be a different year because I had to change the front motor mount timing chain cover thing and oil pan. Might have changed the oil pan because of the turbo or something was tied in, can't remember, that was a couple years ago. Should mention it was running but stalled out around 4500 R's and then picked back up after a second. Couldn't hammer down and red line, had to ease into the throttle. Thanks!

Are you running a stock ECU? You should come up to the next Izzy's meet in Olympia or Del Taco meet in Federal Way. It would be easier to talk this out.
