How much backspacing on GSL-SE???

I'm looking for a set of autocross wheels for my 85 gsl-se. I need to know what the maximum backspacing is that you can have before you're hitting suspension. I know for sure that 4" of backspace will clear no problem. I've heard that 4.5" will even clear, but can't confirm that. Ideally, I'd like 5" of backspace, but I don't know if that will clear. I'm going to be running 13x8's (maybe diamonds) with 215/50/13 kumho V710 tires. My purpose in trying to obtain so much backspace is to get the wheels tucked as far under the car as possible. Thanks in advance!

I have -SE suspensions on both my 7's. I was running a 42mm offset rim and I just measured the back spacing to be a hair over 5".

On my FB with ST springs I have no issue with the springs but it does rub the ST roll bar.

The same rims on my SA with Eibach springs will not fit due to hitting the springs.

Hope this helps, seems to depend on the springs.
