My 1st SE got annihilated by an F-250 at around 230K miles. The engine went into 2 other SEs til around 282K and still ran well until I exchanged it for another one. Current SE has 156K on the body.
Jimmy and pratchs cars look like nice IT cars.

A sleeper is a stock looking, or clost to stock looking vehicle that has tons more power than stock. For example, Chris from Cp racing had a 1st gen that looked essentially stock...but had a 2nd gen engine in it that had 300hp...thats a sleeper

You know, a street sleeper. IE, something that doesn't look too worked, not shown off, not over done, but god does it go!!!

IE: just a nice, clean, straight lookin Rx7 with a worked engine.

P.S. Pratch-I think we have the same front spoiler. You car is very clean. I have the pacific body kit. Is that what you have?

Mariah motorsports front airdam (the SCCA/ITA legal one).

I plan on making it into a sleeper when I do my TII swap next year. First thing I have to land is another 1st gen to become my daily driver, then I have to score a deal on a TII of course I'll be joyfully tearing up kiddies left and right. Of course, barring that, a nice 13B with a bridgeport and a supercharger might give me similar performance

Oh yeah, and thanks for the compliments - the paintjob has definitely renewed my baby's looks. I was young and stupid when I bought her and didn't care for the paint as well as I should/could have. I do not plan on making that mistake again!

Only 70.000 km (about 45K miles, I think) on the body, and already fully restored, a few years ago. Engine killed by previous owner about 3 or 4K ago, pretty early I think... Bought engineless, but rustfree(=restored+Mariah-kit). My engine was bought brand new (not rebuild) 2 years ago, was in my other 1st gen about 5000 km, and now in this one for another 5k. Plan 13B swap this winter. 12A moves on to a fully restored SA (1980), that I sold to my father earlier this year.
