This is something that I have wondered, but have never seen the answer. I remember in one thread, someone said that they had the numbers in a book and were going to post the info when they got home from work, but that never happened.

I was surprised to see, when buying brake pads at Autozone, that they cite GSL-SE as being 30% of the RX-7 population for 84. No idea if there's any real numbers behind it.

the road and track road test lists numbers, but in 1983 they have to be projections. it says gsl-se's are going to be 15% of the total allotment, about 7500cars.

i wonder if going from 15% to 30% allotment, is because the gsl-se was so much better, than the 12a AND the FC, and thus people kept em?
