Whatever 60 Liters is in your silly non-metric system.

agreed...a little more than 16.5 and less than 17 gallons.

Also something else I learned way back when...1st gen fuel gauges when working properly...are VERY VERY VERY accurate. When it is at E...and there is still some color there..before it hits NOTHING..you have gas! hahha...trust me I drive my car pretty dang close to vapors. Stock fuel gauge is pretty dead on accurate.

I think I've put in a little over 16 gallons in my FB a few times. But you have to remember though that the tank capacity doesn't include the filler neck LOL. I've put about 12.5 gallons in the SA and I'm pretty sure it's a 13 gallon tank

I'm the same. I've never seen the light, and the lowest I've let the gauge get is on the E-line. Most I've ever filled up is 50.6 litres (~13.5 gallons).

Maybe I'm just chicken.

By the way, the manual says 63 "liters"...

The official amount which is listed in your Owners manual or can be found easily in the FSM is 16.4 or 16.6 US gallons ( depending on where you look)The FSM states 16.4 US gallons and the owners manual states 16.6 US gallons.

I'm with everyone else I usually fill it way before it gets to E, don't like to risk it, and only 84/85 have the low fuel light, the rest of us are left to guess

Haha I don't really go by fuel gauges anyway, they never seem to be very accurate, at least on the cars I drive, I reset the trip-meter when I fill up and go by that. Mine gets about 21mpg so I usually fill it around teh 250 mile mark (less of a hit to the wallet each time that way lol)

I wish my "BITCH" got mileage like that....
I only get 50 miles per 1/4 tank....

Maybe I should have left her stock and NOT swapped out her heart for the 13B TII block with the 70-1 spinner........

OH well...... guess I can't bitch about it since she can beat up on most "honor students" out there....

SA's hold about 55L or 14.5 US gallons. The most I put in was about 53 liters.
FB's are around 16.5 US gallons, like rx7doc said.
The difference is because SA's had a full sized spare.

I was trying to get you to think. If the tanks are of the same capacity and you are using the sender that is calibrated for your fuel gauge then the reading would be the same.
