Hey everyone, I have a question for you. My car is an '83 S model. It has no sunroof or power options of any kind. I was wondering if I stripped it down as much as possible (ex. carpet, spare tire, and any interior pieces I can access) how light could I make it? I will of course weigh the car when I am done but I would like a rough estimate. Anyone done similar things with an S model?

I made it down to 980KG/ 2160 lbs , but I'm back up a bit now. I've decided I can't live without music. I know I know I'm being greedy the sound of a rotary engine just isn't enough for me, well actually it would be if I could always be pushing the loud pedal to the floor...

 

I can't remember if it was pele, peejay or v8kilr, but one of those guys got it down to 1900 lbs. or so...
