How the hell do I fix the choke cable?

It's loose... like the tension of the steel wire instead of loose... it doesn't pull as hard anymore so the RPM only goes up a little bit and I have to pull it really hard to get it up. (lol) Anyways, sometimes when I push it back in... it won't push it back to normal idle RPM... and I'd have to mess with it with my fingers to get it idle fine. It's just weird... and I tried fixing it but I don't know how else to... any suggestions?

You might find it easier to simply replace the entire cable assembly, if there's no binding linkage on the carb.

Free mod!!! There is an adjuster nut on the carb that you could tighten, 10mm IIRC. Just follow the choke cable and you will find it.
