how hard is a gsl-se suspension swap on a 82 gsl?

how hard is a gsl-se suspension swap on a 82 gsl?

hey as most of you have read i need the 4x114.3 pattern for my car......what do i need from a gsl se and how hard would it be??

I think if Im not mistaken that you wold nead all the suspension off of the gsl se and I do mean every thing from front to back including the rear dif but as far as I know If you have the entire setup off of the gsl se it should bolt right on. I hope that helps .

Pretty easy. All hydraulic lines and p-brake cables match up. You will have to use the GSL-SE driveshaft or change the flange on the SE rear.

'84-5 struts and spindles are different, caliper brackets are different, front and rear. '84-5 rear axles won't fit in earlier rearends, so, no, you can't.
You can put the SE axles in an '84-5 GSL rear (not GS - bolt pattern on the axle housing end flanges is different for the drums), and probably swap the calipers and brackets. Likewise, you probably can swap the SE rotors and calipers & brackets to '84-5 12A struts.
