How fast? mindtrain header and exhaust + Mech secondary
What's up bros?
I asked similar question long ago before I got my exhaust and carb done last summer, now this is my first time take it to run with someone, although I floor it everytime I take my baby out. I would like to be mentally prepared about what I am against
We might have a run tomorrow, my car is 85 GS with Mindtrain stage 4 header, pipe and exhaust and mech secondary, removed AC belt, 90000 miles. I will be running with 2000 GTI VR6 and 91 240sx, 96 240sx, 91 civic with an integra motor, oh and a 93(I think) prelude. All of them got header, intake and exhaust, the 96 240 has a pulley I think.
Ideas, please and thanks!

I estimate 15.0-15.3seconds if the Nikki has been well modified. With a similar set-up and much tuning I could get down to a regular14.7.
If you want a first estimate of what the opposition can do, there is a good thread on the general automotive forum which gives you 1/4 times of most stock cars. Just adjust for their mods and skills.
The fastest stock gen 1 RX-7 could do the 1/4 in 15.2-15.4 seconds.

I'm laughing because I can't see a 14.7 on a stock port 12A. Maybe streetported. But if I'm shown some evidence I'll be a believer.
P.S. Wacko, STFU

A good modified Nikki by someone like Sterling set up with efficient venturies and jets coupled with a good exhaust side can do wonders for your time compared with stock. Another 35-40hp should knock 1.5 seconds off the 1/4 time.
I wonder what the real outcome was!

As a comparison, the 1984 SE, with 35 more horsepower than 12A models, is listed as a 15.9 1/4 mile car.
