Does anyone know how to seperate the bottom and back of the leather 1st gen seats?

I have removed the hex screws from either side of bracket on the seat backs, but both peices still won't come apart.

Any suggestions?

I have 2 sets of seats, 1 has a rip in the bottom and the other has a rip in the back, i want to make 1 good seat out of the pair.

Suggestion...look on ebay...leather seats from a first get become fragile that in the process of taking it apart you could actually damage both worse than they were before...my suggestion is to go with some turbo 2 leather seats...it'll save you a large headache!!
