how to bleed the clutch
i have an 83 gsl with a 5 speed tranny and i took out my tranny and propeller shaft. i put in my clutch and pressure plate but i had to take off the clutch fluid line. how do i bleed the line? i have a bleeder valve on there but how do i bleed it?

Ready ?,,,, okay you'll need brake fluid (new) . A piece of clear hose,about 2 feet long. (fish tank hose) and a plastic (dixie cup) cup. loosen the bleeder, one end of the clear hose goes on the bleeder fitting, the other end goes in the dixie cup. open the clutch master cyl.
and top off with brake fluid, add about 1/4 of the cup with brake fluid too. pump the clutch pedal. the clear hose allows you to see any air bubbles, when no air bubbles are seen tighten up the bleeder, and add brake fluid to the master cyl. then get in a check the clutch pedal. good to go.
