How big is my hose

I have an 85 GSL and I need to replace the coolent hoses that go into the oil cooler. Heres the problem. I phoned the mazda dealer and they told me that the GSL does not have a factory oil cooler but they would get me the GSL-SE lines if I wanted. They are not to bright I guess, I even gave them my VIN number so they could look up the part for my specific car. I am going to use pressure washer hose that is heat resistant up to 200 F and oil resistant or Hydrolic hose. Does anyone know the dimentions of the two hoses? Do you think 200 F is enough heat resistance for the location of the hoses? Any susgestions for alternate hose choices

They are correct, You car did not come with the Cooler.

Do you have the Short Rad with the cooler under it. or the tall rad with the cooler in front?

that hose is not good enough, Hydrolic shop can take your old hose and remake it for you with good hose.

I am pretty sure that the GSL did come with an oil cooler. I might not have been clear enough in my post. It is the beehive oil cooler, Very much stock equipment.

Sorry, We generaly dont call that one a cooler. You just need to go to the dealship and show them on the parts fish what you need. There is one on-line where you can find part numbers but I dont remember the website.

You could also check out mazdatrix.com they should have the hose or have the PN listed.

Thanks for the help, now I can give the dealer the PN or get it from mazdatrix. If it is not generaly called a cooler what is it called. And has anyone been able to find the beehive cooler in the Haynes Manual. It seems to only cover the 13b cooler.
Thanks again

Rather well hidden in chapter 13, aint it?
Kinda odd, the book covers the 79-80 rather extensively, but the 81-85 specific stuff is all back in chapter 13. Fitting though, as some of the parts for these cars will bankrupt you
BTW, it took me a while to find anything about the beehive in my Haynes book as well.
