How to adjust timing?

can someone please put a write up on how to check and adjust ones timing?

Search for a thread created by me, because there are directions in there. Also, invest in a Haynes manual.

I'd have to check, but I believe that my car's running at 24 leading and 16 trailing. (12A)
Get yourself a good reliable adjustable (lots of adjectives whew) timing light. It'll make it quick and easy. I adjust mine while it's running at 4000 RPM - so it helps to have a buddy running the throttle for you.
