Just leave the nipples on the filler neck open. But I highly recommend doing the oil cap mod to get rid of the moisture.

I had issues with "lung mustard" after doing the rat's nest removal. All I did to correct this was run a vacuum line from the nipple on the oil filler neck to the base of the carb. No more issues.

I have not had this problem since using Amsoil and premixing, wonder why...

Maybe the Amsoil doesn't pick up the water like regular oil does (gets all pale and frothy). But if you don't have anything set up to evacuate the crank case, then you will be picking up water due to condensation. Not sure if it matters though, if it isn't reacting with the oil. Unless it travels along with the oil through the engine, in which case it would be very bad. Imagine your bearings getting a shot of oil, oil, oil, water, oil, etc... I don't know. I do know that there are a few different opinions on how to handle moisture in the crankcase, most involving the installation of a pcv valve. I did the most simple thing I could think of, which was just adding a vacuum line to the oil filler. It was supposed to be temporary, until I could get a pcv valve, but it worked and I haven't seen any reason to change it so far. Anyway, that is interesting about the Amsoil.
