Honda Fit seats in a 7: Flame away. Pics inside

As some of you know, parts are hard to come by down here, and expensive as hell.

A friend got a totalled Fit, just to replace his tranny (the auto one, freaking expensive) and offered me the seats. I took them. The seats on my 7 are in sad sad shape, and reupholstery them would be more expensive than getting new seats....

So........... here they are.... I know you guys dont like Hondas, but if you put that aside, they are really nice seats. Well built and comfy.

My favorite seat in the whole world is the FD seat, but no chance in hell you can get one down here.

^Its also not cool sitting on top of a gas tank.

A Fit would be pretty cool though, gas mileage would be a life saver.

Eatmyclutch spends his time making worthles, nonsensicale posts all over the forum, ignore him.

Other than no 1st gens came with blue interior, the seats look comfy and should give great support for spirited driving, so what if they came out of a Honda. Post pics of what's needed for the install and the final product.

I had the seats redone in my Z and the labor alone was 450, ouch.

Hi there

in the crappy cellphone pics, they look blue. In real life, they are dark gunmetal grey, and grey

Why they show up blue... I cant figure out

Those seats do look really comfortable.

And for the record, the seats in my FB feel fantastic. Extremely comfortable, and in good shape as well.

They look like they'd be good, and I'm not sure why everyone on here hates on Honda's so much, they are great cars, my daily driver is a Accord and I love it, good MPG, goes good and is comfy. I think most people on here hate the ricers that own the Honda's more than the Honda's themselves, just my theory. Can't wait to see pics of them installed.

Transam is right, I dont hate a honda, it just goes hand in hand with a ricer you know. Honda ricer, fart canon etc etc.

i will be getting a new car as a DD in the beginning of next year. I am pretty sure I am going to get a civic. I mean 30 MPG in the city and 40 MPG's on the freeway, yah I will take that over my 15MPG rx-7 anyday lol

I have both

both are good.

Civics respond very well to modifications and performace parts are cheap.

The 7 is a true sports car, but it has its downsides, as any sport car

I have a set of 90 GTU seats in one of mine, they bolt right in, sit nice and low and feel great. I had some first gen miata seats in that same car for a while, but the custome bracketry I made just never turned out the way I wanted (seats didn't sit totally right in the car) so I ditched them in favor of the GTU seats
