High Intensity Discharge lights on FB
i just bought my buddy's H4 HID kit couple of months ago installed them, and readjusted the headlights which was a total bitch by the way since the freakin' bolts on these cars shows signs from rust deterioration. but overall, i'm satisfied with the result.
These lights ARE as bright as the sun! it's as bright as the light seen on the top end luxury cars from BMW, lexus, infiniti, cadillac, etc. it has that 'cool blue' color to it. the OE sylvania replacement does not even come close to what you call 'bright'
the only problem that i have to adhere to is obtaining 'e3 projectors' or 'e3 housings' since even my aftermarket H4 headlight housing cannot adapt to the HID's intense light output. this thing freakin' bleeds off light waaaayy off top. it's really bad since it produces the infamous annoying glare and i've already pissed off couple motorists
FYI, the kit consists of Hella gen. 4 ballasts and phillips d2s bulbs
my recommendation is to get HID's if you have the chance to score for a set. buy it used from a friend like i did and save a lot of dough, and i assure you it's worth every penny. i mean come on, who doesn't like better brighting?
btw, anyone here know where i can purchase these 'e3 housings' for our cars?
