HID kit on the fritz!!!!!

In need of some help fellas. i installed a HID kit about 2 days ago and everything was working just fine when i finished they looked great. 2 days later i go and try to turn on my head lights and i get nothing at all. I took out my volt meter and checked all connections and it was fine but no lights so i took off one kit and connected directly to the car battery and the light goes on. What the hell is it. to add more to the frustration i tried the stock lamp and it worked fine also. so what could it be i feel like i tried everything, i even checked the fuse box and they are all okay. what can it be.?????

Smart car. Other motorists don't like your HID's either.

HIDs need a lot of juice to kick them on. You never want to extend the wires, and it's a good idea to use a relay, as you found out.
