Help winter day in the field

i am at school and its freakin cold out there.

gave a friend a lift this morning and they openened my window and now it will not close

now the motors were weak and i hadn't gotten in to them to check them over or lubericate them, but now it looks i have to

is there a quick fix you all can suggest to a newbie that is outside in teh cold and a long way from a warm indoor garage?

Get someone to operate it while you manually "assist" it with your hands. Be careful, dont break anything, and dont let anyone lower it till its lubed.

I read that thread, since mine are gonna need it as well. It said to spray White Lithium Grease. I'm putting mine off, since I know that plastic door panel clips are gonna be brittle from the cold & will be more likely to break.
