Help please....Ignition coils

I have a 83 Rx with no mods besides a cd player. I was trying to start it up today, it has been in storage and been about 3 weeks since it was last ran. However it wont fire. I can hear the starter activating, I can hear the fuel pump humming, and it acts as if it wants to fire but wont. I took out the spark plugs and cleaned them really well thinking that maybe they had some build up but that didn't fix it. Finally I checked my coils. The one controlling the Lower two spark plugs wasn't sparking so I went out and bought a new. However this one isn't sparking either. So now I am completely baffled because I traced the wires with my fingers that run to the coils. There is no split in the wires at least from what I could feel. Does anyone have any ideas?
