Help pick some rims, narrowed it down too 2,

Car is a 84 Solid silver/grey. with removed side molding. All molding, handles, trim is still black.

I have norrowed my rim seach down to these two in 16" and in black.

What do you think?

Here is the car (painting in process) with some junk 5 star 17" wheel I had in the garage.

I really want some smaller to keep the prices of tires down a bit. Both the above rims come in 15, 16" I might even opt for 15's since the choice for sticky tires seems best for 15" and 17" rims in the size I would need.

If I had to choose 1 of the above.. I'd take the bottom one. Now if I had to get some 16's for my SE. they would be................................................ .

PANASPORTS!!!!

BTW anyone have pics of the gun metal panasports with polish lip?? I heard they have that color, but I haven't inquire about them yet since I don't have the dough...

How are you going to put some basically "Honda only" wheels on a RX7?

Don't take this as a flame.... I'm just VERY curious, because I am leaning towards the first ones you posted.... but the fact that they are not available in 4x110, it kinda puts a damper on that idea.

Let me know what I gotta do to get thoise wheels!!!

They come in 4*114.3mm also. Both those listed above are made by rota.
My car is 4*110, but I am using a spacer/adpater in the front and an 8.8" ford rearend.

I'd go with the top wheel, just my opinion. Black wheels on a silver car is about the best combo if you ask me! What are the prices of them?

the first set would be better if you polished the lip

go for the subzeros.... (2nd ones)

Those are almost what I ended up when I was shopping for wheels myself, but I couldn't locate any with a polished lip anymore.. Pretty cool design, but the extra slots around the bolt holes look kinda dumb.

In order of preference:

1. The first ones.
2. The ones on the car.
3. The second ones.

I guess I'm just a sucker for five stars...

Two questions:

1. Do the first ones come with center caps of any sort?
2. What are the 17s that are on your car?

And the rims that are on e car in the pic are some cheap knock-offs of ZIGEN 5ZR COPSE. They weigh a ton.

actualy both the rims he poasted are knockoffs...

1st ones are some spoon Rim, and the second ones are of the RH CP-035's I think...

So what.. lots of companies make knockoffs that doesn't mean they re bad wheels...

In fact if they are Rota's (which I beleive they are) they are light as hell, and you can't beat them for the price...

They both are copies made by rota and they are nice and light.
