To get your car's paint code to compare to the list Savannah posted, you can check either:
1. Inside your engine bay, passenger side firewall should have a small metal plaque with your VIN and a paint code. Mine is K3 (which makes mine Sunbeam Silver )
2. Inside the driver's side door on a sticker.

Compare these to the list.

Most of the paints of our cars have a gold metallic flake, or mica underneath the paint layer. Make sure whoever does your paint knows how to do this properly or you'll get a flat, crappy-looking color.

They look like panasports. That paint looks more metallic than the normal K8 to me, but if it is a stock color, it is definately tornado silver.

I looked for my paint code in these places and could not find it. Any idea where they hid it on '79's?

Look at the color list, it lists what years the colors were used.

Mine isn't listed. My original window sticker says it's Sonic Bronze Metallic. I've found another site that shows it as Y5, but don't know how accurate that is. I would think it must be on the car somewhere.
