its me again..i got accelerating problems?
i have an original nikki carb on my car that was recently rebuilt for smog..the car passed smog but now runs lazy.i dont have the power that i had before,when i accelerate it takes off but i cant floor it because it has a slow reaction.also when i try to rev it lacks its performance ..what can i do..the car idles at about 800 rpm.it idles smooth but doesnt perform.i have new air filter,new fuel lines,new fuel filter.plugs,cables ..oil change..

please help me. can i mod it..i have plans for a webber but not till february..i need to resolve this as soon as possible..

 

Could be that your secondaries aren't opening. Do a search for mechanical secondaries, and kludge the linkage so that it opens all the time. Then test and see if your performance issues are resolved.
