Help, my car wont start!!!
Ya, It happened 2 months ago, I tried to start my car on a very cold morning and I flooded it. Now, 2 months later, I'm trying to start it and it won't.
Yesterday, I just changed one of my coil thinking the trailing one was dead but there is still no spark on my trailing plugs. Then I checked my other coil also and the leading stopped sparking (what the hell).
One thing that I know is that the last time I started the car, the rpm didn't move. I got told that the tach was connected to one of the coil so I was thinking that the trailing coil was dead. Sadly, it seems that its's not the case and now I gotta find out what else could be wrong
Now I'm sitting with no spark on all 4 plugs and I got no clue why lol. The starter surely works, the gaz pump also, so I'm pretty sure the problem is somewhere between the coil and the distributor. By the way, I also changed both my ditributor and my rotor inside.
Someone talked to me about the trailing ignition sensor, where are these sensors located and could it be the problem? I have no clue what a ignition sensor is for and what it does really
Thanks for reading and I hope that anyone can help!! I'm gonna bring a timing light next time to verify everything so it's gonna be alot easier but still, I want to know what other problems it could be. Right now, I'm not even trying to start the engine, I'm just trying to have a good spark on all 4 plugs. The problem can't be the wire or plugs because the leading one once spark really well and I tried the same wire and plug on others and it didn't work.
So I'm about to give up and bring the bitch to a shop but it could cost me alot of money for a very small problem

It's not the coils, but the ignitors. Attached to the side of the dizzy.
What year is your car? if it's a 84-85, if there is no trailing ignition the fuel pump won't work either.
