removing stuff, remove rats net (emissions stuff) pratch has a good write up of it. remove spare tire/jack. remove ac/ps power anythign cruise control rear window wiper motor. etc.. all depends how far you are willing to go.

easy mods, setup a direct fire ignition. theres a writeup for it arund sumwhere just search. Racing beat header and exhaust.

dickin wit da nikki, mechanical secondaries.

electric fans, yes i know who to set one up to make it work. will i explain? no. do a search or use a bit of common sence :]

if u add an electric fan hten yes u can remove the clutch fan but make sure you keep the fan shroud to use with the electric one.

wich electric fan to use? look for a fan slim profile from ford smodels liek the escort and the well hmm the name escapes me at the moment sorry. if u search lots of good info will come up.

"you are trying to race"

Hmmm, any particular racing class, because most of them have a rule book. This book will tell you which modifications are allowed, and the one no listed are not allowed.

Before you start gutting your car or spend a dime, figure out what kind of racing you plan to do. Cause running in a Unlimited Class is very expensive if you plan to be conpetitive.

I recommend and Spec7 road racing or a stock class of autoX. But like I said read the RULES.

Will this be a track only car, or street driver too.

Electric fan, what is your engine worth too you? $200 then go Black Magic (2800 cfm) but I hear you could get by with a 3.8l Ford Tarus fan. But again ask yourself what is my motor worth.
